Dr. Kandil and his staff are the greatest. They are thorough and professional. Everyone involved explained what they would be doing during my procedure. I went home the day after surgery with no pain, side effects, and very little scarring (not noticeable). I would highly recommend Dr. Kandil.

DrKandil is by far the best surgeon in his area of work! I had a thyroid removed 9 years ago and went back to him this year to have the other removed! His care team are awesome! One complaint would be his bedside manner needs improvement! I didn’t see him before the surgery nor after! I have had many procedures and the doctors always came to see me before and after so I was very uncomfortable with that! I even asked if I could see him, and he didn’t come! Other than that he’s a great surgeon and I would refer others to see him! His NP Ms Wendy is awesome also, she is very caring and was very concerned about my aftercare!I appreciate him and his staff for all their help and concerns.I appreciate him and his staff for all their help and concerns.

Dr. Kandil is every good what he does. I think he is the number one in are area for this kind of surgery. I would go back to him, if I have any more problems. His staff are great. Everyone that I had to see for my surgery, are great to see you are comfortable and have any questions you need to be answered. My recovery went every well. Dr Kandil is the best of what he does.

Dr Kandil and staff are awesome. Stars deducted because Tulane is abysmal. If Dr Kandil wasn’t there, I would never go back. Bad service and mistakes from scheduling to billing.

I visited Dr. Kandil and his staff to see if I was a candidate for the RFA procedure on my thyroid nodule. Dr. Kandil and his staff were absolutely phenomenal during my visit. They answered every question I had and were extremely helpful with making my decision to have the procedure done. Dr. Kandil is one of the top 10 thyroid surgeons in the country and I highly recommend anyone seeking alternative treatment rather than surgery to at least see this guy first!

Dr kandil is my Angel. I had a 6mm thyroid nodule and every other surgeon wanted to cut my neck. I went to Miami hospital and the surgeon laughed at me behind my back. Called Tulane and got an appointment. Got my thyroid nodule removed via armpit and after radio frequency on other side.

After 10 years of doctor after doctor, I was referred to Dr. Kandil by my manager. Her husband is an oncologist and very good friends with Dr. Kandil. Upon my very first visit yesterday he had me diagnosed and a plan of action was put in place. He is extremely knowledgeable on thyroids and has an excellent bedside manner.
